Studying at a graduate level is where you develop expertise, knowledge and skills within a particular field. MAZUMS offers more than 105 graduate programs backed by world-class research facilities.
As one of the Middle East’s top universities, MAZUMS has competitive admission requirements at graduate level, and attracts outstanding applicants from around the world. Important information about the application procedure, deadlines and requirements have been provided by the Office of Admissions.
Notes:
- All your documents need to be original, or else the copies should be proved same as original by the Head of Certification Issuance Authority. For the documents which are not issued/written in English (or Persian), the English/Persian translation that is approved by a notary public should also be attached to the original document. The Admissions Committee will review your documents and will notify you of the final decision.
- When you are accepted into MAZUMS, we will assist you in processing your visa application. After you receive your visa and purchase your ticket to Iran, please inform us of your arrival date at least 15 days in advance by forwarding a copy of your ticket to us so that we coordinate your transfer.
- MAZUMS offers it's admitted international students an accommodation which is furnished with bed, sofa, basic kitchen appliances, microwave oven, refrigerator, washing machine, TV, and wireless Internet.
- At MAZUMS, the Fall semester starts in September, and the Spring semester starts in January.
All interested applicants are welcome to apply to MAZUMS by completing and submitting MAZUMS online application form in which they need to specify their school, level and major of interest.
What are the Academic requirements?
The entry requirements vary for each university. However, normally applicants are expected to have achieved high grades at school.
A graduate applicant is an applicant who has already completed and obtained his/her first-level university degree and wishes to pursue his/her education beyond that level in M.Sc., Ph.D., Specialty, Subspecialty, Fellowship, etc.

and uploading high-quality scans of the following documents are required:

- * A letter of motivation in which you clearly specify your major and level of interest. Guidelines on writing a letter of motivation is available here
- * A Resume or C.V.
- * Previous degree(s) in original: Ph.D. candidates should provide both their Bachelor's and Master's (or any other related degree such as M.Phil.), and M.Sc. candidates should provide both their B.Sc. and High School Diploma (or any other related degree such as M.B.B.S.) along with the complete transcript of all records for all degrees (Minimum GPA of 3- or equivalent; the better GPA, the better chance to apply)
- Proficiency in English
- * Two letters of recommendation
- * A passport-size photograph
* A copy of passport's main pages
* The document or letter which shows your ability to pay tuitions during the semesters
- Studying at MAZUMS, requires a Persian Language Certificate. So, there are a Persian Language Training Center at Babolsar City (next to Sari city) that you can study for a short course period; then, give your Persian Language Proficiency Certificate to MAZUMS, as a document, for register consequences. (You should register your request, 7 months before the educational semester to took apart at Persian Language Center for gaining the Persian Certificate)
For students intending to study in a graduate program, providing a certificate of any publications or published papers will be considered as an advantage, though providing these types of material is not obligatory and part of the requirements.
How can I apply to study medicine?
Applications for medicine degrees are submitted, using the online application form. Here you can register and create your application. You will need to complete a number of different sections, including your personal details, educational qualifications, financial information and a personal statement.
What next?
If you have been accepted on the medicine course, start preparing for your visa application if you require a visa to study in the Iran. If you were unsuccessful in your application, you will be able to apply again the following year.
